Counseling Systems

(Prerequisite: CED6813, CED7852, CED7891, and CED7822) Survey of the major systems/models of counseling and marriage and family therapy in modern Western civilization with content related conceptually to clinical concerns. Addresses history and philosophy of the counseling profession and current trends in community counseling, along with emphasis on theory and application. Culminates with overview of Christian approaches.
