Students examine theoretical foundations, basic principles, assessment techniques, and intervention strategies of three major schools of marriage and family therapy: Brief, Solution-Focused, and the Communication Approach to marriage and family counseling. Taught from a systems theory perspective and in the context of a Christian worldview.
