CED 7333: Theology of Social Justice

Course Description

3 hours. In A Theology of Social Justice, students will formulate responses to American racial injustice from biblical, theological, and ethical perspectives. This will include engaging the history of the construction of race in western thought and its correlative reading perspectives toward the Bible. Special attention will be given to understanding the nature of systemic sin as well as various reader-response hermeneutics from oppressed perspectives.
