Do you know the Richmont Libraries also offer writing center services? Everyone needs help with their research and their writing from time-to-time. Whether you are staring at a blank page or putting the finishing touches on a completed essay, the Richmont Library staff is here to help!
The Richmont Libraries offer two types of writing center services: Research Consultations and Paper Reviews.
Schedule a Research Consultation when you are just beginning a new project and need help finding sources, organizing your ideas, and clarifying your subject.
Schedule a Paper Review when you need help writing, editing, or formatting your paper in accordance with APA 7 or Turabian style.
Simply fill out either form, and someone from the Richmont Libraries will reach out to you as soon as possible. Please note that consultations are collaborations--Richmont Library staff will not proofread or edit a paper for you. Students bear all responsibility for their academic success.
Consultations may be scheduled virtually over Zoom or email, or in-person during library business hours at one of our campus libraries. Most consultations last between 30 minutes and an 1 hour, although they can be longer or shorter depending on staff availability and the nature of the help provided. Please note that writing center services are subject to library staff availability, so do not wait until the last moment to schedule with us!
